Design and Synthesis of Multipotent Antioxidants for Functionalization of Iron Oxide Nanoparticles

Multipotent antioxidants (MPAO) were synthesized and characterized by FTIR, NMR. The functionalized nanoparticles (IONP@AO) XRD, Raman, HRTEM, FESEM, VSM, EDX. IONP@AO1 IONP@AO2 have average particles size of 10 nm 11 nm, respectively. IONP@AO has a superparamagnetic nature, with saturation magnetization 45 emu·g?1. Structure-based virtual screening the designed MPAO was performed PASS analysis ADMET studies to discover predict molecule’s potential bioactivities safety profile before synthesis procedure. half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) DPPH results showed four-fold decrease in radical scavenging compared IONP. In addition antioxidant activity, suitable antimicrobial activities when tested on various bacterial fungal strains. advantage developed nanoantioxidants is that they strong affinity towards biomolecules such as enzymes, proteins, amino acids, DNA. Thus, can be used develop biomedicines act antioxidant, antimicrobial, anticancer agents.
